In order to familiarize and re enforce proper evacuation routes and practices, Topserve participated in the yearly Fire Drill, initiated by the building administration, A&N Holdings, Inc., headed by Ms. Ma. Victoria De Jesus. Topserve occupies the 1st to 4th floor of the 7-storey building in Kamagong, San Antonio, Makati City, where it holds the main office of the business.
Prior to the fire drill activity, Topserve Makati established its Emergency Response Team (ERT) to manage man-made and natural catastrophes that may happen, especially in the workplace. The Corporate HR and Admin department, headed by Ms. Leah T. Uy, assigned Marshalls per floor and other pertinent roles in emergency response, including crowd control, information and communication in-charge and tally board data keeper.
The ERT team had a series of roles orientation and training under Mr. Alejandro Garcia, Jr., the assistant fire brigade chief of the building. On June 27, 2022, the BFP Makati Chapter conducted their orientation to Topserve regarding the Fire Prevention program of the agency and other educational topics related to Fire Safety. Ultimately, on July 14, 2022, the actual fire drill was conducted successfully. The Makati Central Fire Station officers observed the whole enactment of the fire evacuation by the A&N tenants. Topserve and its sister companies that occupy the A&N Building were commended by the BFP for executing a smooth and thorough building evacuation, also mentioning the observable seriousness of the ERT members on their respective roles.
